Terms and Conditions


MiC refers to the Made in Canterbury group as identified on this website.

Customer means any person who places an order for products via this website

Product or products are interchangeable as applicable and refer to the products described in any order made via this website

User
is anyone who accesses, browses or otherwise uses the website

As a customer or user of this website you agree and represent that you agree to our terms and conditions.

Contract

A contract is deemed to exist between you, the customer, and MiC once payment has been received by the relevant artisan

MiC reserves the right to cancel the contract if:

  • Mic is unable to deliver the products you have ordered due to insufficient stock
  • MiC is unable to deliver to your address.
  • Or if one or more of the products you order was listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical error
If MiC does cancel the contracts you will be notified by email at the email address you provided at the time of placing the order.

Monies you have paid will be refunded to you via PayPal as soon as possible but in any event within 30 days of us cancelling your order.


MiC will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for any disappointment suffered.

Payment

Payment is via PayPal which is a secure site. Your personal information will not be held on our website.

Delivery

Is usually within 21 days but please contact the individual artisan for further information

MiC will arrange delivery of products ordered by you, to the address you provide for delivery when you placed your order.

MiC accepts no responsibility for any items lost or damaged in transit.

Once products are delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and MiC will not be liable for their loss, damage or destruction.

For International orders:
  • Please contact the individual artisan for delivery costs.
  • You, the purchaser are responsible for compliance with all applicable regulations and legislation including obtaining all necessary customs, import or other permits.
  • MiC accepts no liability in respect of the export or import of the products you purchase.
Returns and refunds

If you change your mind about your purchase MiC will refund the purchase price if goods are returned unused and in their original condition within 7 days of receipt

You, the purchaser are responsible for the cost of postage and packing and must obtain a Certificate of Postage.

Liabilities

If you have not received you order within the timescale agreed between you and the individual artisan, MiC accepts no liability to you unless you have notified MiC, in writing (email) through the ‘Contact’ page on the website.

Niether MiC nor the individual artisan will be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising.

Change of terms and conditions

MiC reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Such modifications will have immediate effect once they are posted on the website or you receive email notification of the changes. Your continued use of the website shall be deemed your conclusive acceptance of these terms and conditions and if applicable, any modifications.
