• Textile design using techniques including applique, patchwork and machine and hand embroidery.  
  
• Inspiration drawn from folk art and vintage textiles particularly quilts.  
  
• Where possible, I prefer to use recycled and faded fabrics, mother-of-pearl buttons etc. for my work which can be anything from a quilt to a lavender bag or card.

Owls on blue: cushion - appliqued linen owls with antique button eyes on vintage indigo fabric from Croatia.

Beehive cushion: appliqued linen beehive with machine embroidered delphiniums and hand embroidered bees.

Quilt: patchwork quilt constructed from fabrics collected over many years.
