Sew Brilliant

I offer a small but growing range of hand sewing kits for children.

Most of the ideas have arisen from projects used in my children’s sewing classes or sewing parties. (visit www.sew-brilliant.co.uk for details) They are designed to be hand sewn but there are elements of most of them that could also be done on a sewing machine. I have included ‘how to do ...’ sheets in the kits if the stitches called for are more complicated than running stitch.

All kits contain everything needed to complete the project, including: all materials; templates; and illustrated, step-by-step, making up instructions. All you need to supply is an eager sewer, a little time and a pair of scissors

They would make lovely presents


They are suitable for children of 8 years or over. Younger children might manage the sewing but would need help with cutting out and supervision by an adult because of the sharp points of the pins and needles.
